Interview with Sonja Donahoe

On February 25, 2002, Sonia will celebrate her 53rd birthday. She is a recognized actress in television, industrial films, voice-overs, and print work. Sonia has great love of the theater; her early training as a ballet dancer has provided her the ability to grace the stage, including Broadway. Her family was in show business so her talent probably comes naturally.

Sonia was introduced to Facial Magic when she saw the infomercial; at first she was somewhat skeptical until she learned that a friend of her had gotten the tape. When she saw the infomercial again, she ordered Facial Magic.

Cyn: How long have you been doing Facial Magic?

Sonia: At first I was off and on with it but this time, I've been doing the exercises since October 25,2001.

Cyn: What do you notice happening with your face, Sonja?

Sonia: I've got the mirror right here. You know, it's not one specific thing; it's the overall look of my face. The angles have softened. At this age, on my face anyway, I noticed that I was looking sharper. Now my face looks fuller and softer.

Cyn: One think I've noticed about Facial Magic women, their faces look less stressed.

Sonia: Yes! That's what has happened to my face. Being in show business, you hear actresses talking about face-lifts, botox, eyelifts and collagen all the time. I want to work more and especially in this business, the better you look, the more you work. That's really true no matter what business you're in…if you look the best and can speak well, you're going to get that job! My friends and I compare notes and we're not shy about what we're doing. I always hear about the newest and the latest surgeries but for me, no way! I'm too chicken and a face-lift doesn't look so good after awhile. My friend had really good results with a facelift about two years ago, now it's falling and she is looking stressed. The freshness she had at the beginning is gone.

Cyn: Have you recommended Facial Magic to her?

Sonia: Yes, as a matter of fact, she asked me right before she left on a singing cruise if she could look at my tape upon her return. She noticed a difference in my face and was surprised to learn that women who've had surgical face work can easily do Facial Magic. She thought I looked good - really good!

Cyn: Have other people noticed the improvements in your face?
Sonia: I was in Florida for Thanksgiving with my brother and my sister; it is very unusual for us to be all together at one time and we were enjoying my sister's big new home with its very large kitchen. We were sitting around the table talking about this cute plastic surgeon that works at the hospital with my sister. Of course I was interested in learning what type of work he performed and the cost of certain procedures when my brother interjected, "Sonia, you don't need plastic surgery." Of course my eyes lit up, "What?" He repeated, "You do not need a facelift! Your face really looks good." He said, " Aren't you 50-something? Are you doing something?" I told him about Facial Magic and he was really interested; I explained how the exercises were specific to each area of the face and that they were a lot like exercises for the body. I suggested he go to the website to look at the before and after photos and read the testimonials. He said, "I don't have to, I can see your face!" For my brother to compliment me was most interesting. Even my mother, who has had two facelifts, said I looked good so I am thrilled.

Cyn: Are there any beauty tips you'd like to share with our readers?

Sonia: Yes, drink water and say your affirmations to change your thought patterns. Affirmations are amazing and so is the effect of water on our skin.
Drinking water did not come naturally to me; sometimes I would walk around thirsty for a couple of hours before I would drink water. Not anymore! I think positive thinking is one thing but getting into the detail of how to think positively; you have to look at yourself to discover if you're a negative thinker. Sleep is good and affirmations help sleep a lot. Louise Hay recommends releasing the day with love. "With love I release the day; the day is gone and I trust that I will sleep deeply tonight and that my dreams will work for me" is one of her affirmations. Also exercise and do Facial Magic - it makes sense! And, take care of your skin.

Cyn: Any parting words regarding Facial Magic?

Sonia: "Just do the exercises, you won't be disappointed!"
